Upward writing pocket slate with four lines of 31 cells; pins in bottom plate; paper is inserted through the top hinge; clear plastic; corners slightly rounded; hinged on long side with two widely separated smallish piano hinges; metal registration pins pointing up from bottom frame; top frame has dimples in edges of cell windows to guide placement of stylus; raised lines vertically every five cells; horizontal raised lines at top, bottom, and between rows 2 and 3; no markings.
