Michael A. Hudson
Museum Director
Mike has been director of the Museum since 2005. A native of Lexington, Mike received an M.A in the history of technology from the University of Delaware in 1987. Previously he headed the collections program at the Kentucky Historical Society.

Justin Gardner
AFB Helen Keller Archivist
Justin has worked at APH since 2011, serving as the Migel Librarian before coming to the Archive in 2020. He received both his BS in History and his Master of Library Science from Indiana University in Bloomington.

Katie Fraser Carpenter
Museum Educator
Katie Carpenter joined the staff in February 2009. She has a B.A. in history, an M.A. in education, and an M.F.A. in creative writing. She spent ten years as a middle school teacher and has worked previously with the National Scouting Museum, Kentucky Education Television, and The Homeplace 1850 at Land Between the Lakes.
