Single sheet ad describing a plate embossing machine, available for purchase from the National Institute for the Blind, that resembles an Improved Stainsby braillewriter. A carriage, with three braille keys extending out to the left and three keys extending out to the right, moves along a rail that rests in a cast iron carriage guide. A clamp holds the embossing plate on a board along which the plate is moved, line-by-line, away from the machine as each line is embossed. A photo of the machine appears at the top of the ad.
