- The Perkins Brailler is a precision-made, all purpose braillewriter enclosed in an aluminum case which is finished in a tough, baked grey enamel. The keys, knobs, and carriage lever are made of grey plastic; the exposed metal parts are plated. This brailler was among the first available Perkins Braillers for purchase.
