Description:
The inside of the spoon's bowl shows a view of the school building. Above the view is "School for the Blind," and below is "Batavia, N.Y." The handle is decorated on front and back with a raised floral design. "1903" appears on the front at the end of the handle. The maker's mark on the back shows a lion, anchor, and the letter "G." Next to the mark is "Pat. 1901" and "Sterling."
