- A left-hinged brass interlining slate, rounded on right, with 2 lines of 40 braille cells, fits into a natural-finish wooden board that has two vertical grooves, each containing a row of twelve holes, along sides to accommodate slate pins. Board has a wooden paper clamp at top with chamfered edge. Wood-handle stylus with short metal tip is included. .25a -slate; .25b - frame; .25c - stylus.
