History/Provenance: The DVD was produced by APH using a Rimage stand alone CD/DVD duplicator. Before purchasing the duplicator, APH paid $1-2 to have color CDs and DVDs made outside of the company. With the Rimage duplicator, APH production costs were reduced to 45 cents and 75 cents, for the CDs and DVDs, respectively, and the turn-around-time was lessened. An AER conference presentation "Gallery of Pioneers and Heroes for the Blindness Field," presented in 2000, initiated the development of the Hall of Fame which opened at APH in 2002.
