- Description:
- Device used for measuring the pH of solutions. Features include: a Coleman impulse amplifier circuit, an electronic amplifier, a precision-wound potentiometer, and a Weston type standard cell. Electrometer is enclosed in a wooden case with a hinged lid and a leather handle attached to the top of the lid. On the front is a metal fastener of which the bottom half is missing. A hinged door on the left side is secured shut with 4 screws and allows access to two tubes. Manufacturer's directions for using the device are printed on laminated paper and attached to the inside of the lid. A typewritten paper label with the name of the device is glued to the front of the case. "Inst. no. 2958" and "Model 3 D" --manufacturer's metal label on top of electrometer. This item was used at the Kentucky School for the Blind.
