Description: The wooden sphere is dissected into 8 equal parts which are further cut into 4 pyramid shapes. Leather strips, attached with screws to the outer surfaces of the pieces, allow the sphere to be "laid open" and reassembled. There are 8 metal pegs at the top of each large section; string can be wrapped around the pegs to keep the sphere closed. Some of the leather strips are broken.
