Scope & Content: Item is a video tape of The Center for Women and Families' 2000 Celebration of Service honoring five outstanding local women of distinction. The Celebration was held at the Galt House East on March 22, 2000 in Louisville, KY and was broadcast on the FOX 41 television channel. Among the five women honored is Terry Sales, the first female narrator accepted into the Talking Book program at the American Printing House for the Blind. At the time of the taping, Sales had recorded over 800 talking books. The tape lasts approximately 27 minutes.
