Administrative History: The Victoria Memorial School for the Blind was founded in 1902 as a charitable institution for blind boys and opened in Bombay (now Mumbai), India. First located in a small rented building, the school moved to various locations until a new school building was constructed in 1914 on Tardeo Road, where it is still located.
