VERNON/1887"; reverse features light rays shining down from heavens onto olive branches and book depicted with raised letter print; cast legend, "INSTITUTION NATIONALE DES JEUNES AVEUGLES/LUX IN TENEBRIS'; engraved on rectangle, "PRIX WILKINS de VARNEY/CLOTILDE LISERTA/1895"; stamped on side, "BRONZE".
