Description: Rectangular-shaped wooden box, butt jointed; two steel strings stretched lengthwise above the flat top surface; strings are attached to a pair of square steel tuning pegs at one end of the instrument and to two smaller felt-padded brass pins behind a wedge-like wooden bridge (with brass blade along point of bridge) on the opposite end; small piece of red felt is fastened around the bottom of each pin; two square brass plates screwed below bridge; two(2) seven-hole sound holes bored on each long side in daisy pattern; twelve notched fret markings along both of the top lengthwise edges; printed paper labels pasted on both edges, the frets are marked "Second", "Minor Third" etc.,on the labels.
