- Full plate tintype shows a photograph of a brass matted photo, identified by the vendor as an earlier daguerreotype. A woman is standing next to a blind man who is seated. The original photo may date circa 1860. The woman is wearing a long dress with gathered skirt, pleated bodice, belt, full-cuffed sleeves, and lace-trimmed neckline. The man wears striped trousers and jacket, which appears to have a velvet collar, a vest and broad bow tie. His hair covers his ears, and he has a beard.
