Digital sound reproduction made April 2000 of a recorded 1995 interview of Tina Lou Wallace, retired APH proofreader, with interviewer Andy Chappell, an APH narrator. The original recording was made on an audiocassette tape. Tina Lou Wallace, who became blind as a young child, talks about her career at the American Printing House for the Blind. She began working at APH in 1932 as a braille proofreader. In 1943, she became a proofreader in the company's Talking Book Studio. From 1958 until her retirement in 1976, she served as Talking Book Editor. After her retirement, Wallace continued working part time at APH until 1985.
