Summary/Description: Paperbound; interpoint, contracted (grade 2) braille. Cover has printed information in blue ink with an illustration of the inaugural seal featuring the Capitol dome at top center. Included in the contents are biographies of President-elect Barack Obama, Vice President-elect Joseph Biden, Jr., and their spouses; the calendar of events; and a description of the parade map. Transcribed and embossed by the American Printing House for the Blind (APH), the official vendor of what is thought to be the first brailled presidential inaugural guide book. APH produced150 braille copies to be distributed by the Presidential Inaugural Committee.
