Description: Black-and-white glossy; side view of a woman, Sitt Arkade, bending over a young boy who is blind to guide his hands across holes in a tactile arithmetic slate. Letters HKH [Helen Keller House] are handwritten in ink on reverse of photo. From a series of photographs described in notes as taken at the "Home for Blind Boys sponsored by Helen Keller House, Beit Hanina" (then in Jordan); contact sheets for those photographs have "Bible Lands" on edge. The Bible Lands Society ran the home.
