Description: Item is a proof copy of a tactile illustration, affixed to cardboard, that was embossed from a metal plate with raised line and dot drawings of Liberace's piano, piano bench, candelabra, and dog, Suzette. Candelabra is hand-colored gold, with yellow candles and orange flames. Labeling in both braille and handwritten ink reads: "Liberace," "Baldwin," "Suzette," and "Brailled by Elizabeth Judd, May 1954." A newspaper article titled "A Braille Piano for Liberace," by Al Aronson, is glued to the back. The newspaper is not identified [Courier-Journal?]. A handwritten note (see below) and address label are also on the back. "The metal plate from which this proof was taken was given to Liberace after his concert at Fort Wayne, Ind. He now has this plate in his home." --on reverse in blue ink.
