Description: Front: black-and-white glossy. Eight students, of which one has only and arm and hand visible, read braille books in a classroom. Dr. and Mrs. Stauffer observe the students while the instructor reads from a book. In the background, and open winder, a roof, and several trees are visible. Reverse: typewritten information is obscured by typewritten piece of thin paper; thin paper says, "For Immediate Release, XXIV Corps PIO APO 235, 8 Nov 48. Seoul, Korea (Delayed)--Dr. Milton T. Stauffer, General Secretary of the John Milton Society for the Blind New York, and Mrs. Stauffer observe a class of blind children reading English braille at the Korean National Institute for the Deaf and Blind in Seoul, during Dr. Stauffer's one-week visit here to study Korea's facilities for caring for the blind and deaf. -30- U.S. Army Photo." Reverse also features the number "11209;" the number "12565" with a line under it and, in order from top to bottom, "9 H(?) T," "1 of 3," and "120;" , in red marker, an "M" in a circle."
