Description: Color, LtoR, Mr. Shimada, Ted Hull, Stevie Wonder, Don Hunter, and Gene Shelby sitting in front of row of six Japanese women in kimonos at a tea ceremony school in Tokyo; Shimada is in a blue-gray double-breasted suit, Hull wears a blue suit and thick glasses, Wonder wears a brown silk suit and dark sunglasses, Hunter wears a brown plaid suit, and Shelby wears a blue suit; the women wear flowered kimonos except an older lady in the middle, whose kimono is dark blue; she is identified in "The Wonder Years" as Mrs. Sogetsu Shimada.

History/Provenance: From Motor City Radio Flashbacks, March 2, 1968, "The Temptations, Stevie Wonder and Martha Reeves and the Vandellas left town recently to participate in the Motortown Revue Japanese Festival which will tour Japan for one month. The artists have been scheduled for TV appearances, concerts, and will entertain U.S. troops stationed in areas in and around Japan. . . . "
