Description: Disbound from a two volume set titled Hogarth's Tableaux; names of the artist, H.K. Browne, and the engraver, R. Young, appear in print beneath the illustration; depicts a blind man playing a clarinet-like instrument in front of an overgrown and run-down building that has a sign with the following, "Paradise House, this elegant Family Mansion to be Let or Sold."; a basket with a sign reading "Pity Poor Blind" is fastened to his waist; a small dog sits on the building porch, its collar connected to the musician's wrist by a cord. "Labour in Vain" --bottom margin. "London, Published By J Hogarth, 5 Haymarket." --bottom margin.
