Description: Walnut veneer wooden cabinet with vent grills on front and both sides; clear "Sound Sciber" indicator bar on top (lit from behind by an internal light bulb) shows progress of recording disk completion; black hard rubber turntable on black enameled steel deck recessed under cover of cabinet, gray aluminum tone arm on right, on/off toggle switch, and brown Bakelite volume knob; brass label on the front below headphone jack reads "Insert Listening Device, SoundScriber"; on back of machine is another brass tag, "SoundScriber Trade Mark T-22820 Mfg. By The Sound Scriber Corp. New Haven, Conn. USA." and "Property of Claim Department"; power cord and earphone missing.
