Description: Rectangular wood plaque with walnut stain has beveled edges and a black brass plate with gold trim on front. Inscription on plate reads "Presented to Dr. Douglas E. Inkster in recognition of 14 years of devoted and innovative service to the field of Aging and Vision Rehabilitation and for the development of the unique Center for Independent Living, September, 1985, C.I.L. Staff, Past and Present." On the reverse is a bracket for hanging, and a gold foil label of the plaque maker.
