Description: Manual label maker has an off-white plastic dial, at top, with both print and raised braille markings for selecting letters of the alphabet, numbers, punctuation, and some contractions to emboss in braille on label tape. The tape is stored inside the chrome-plated handle, which has a black plastic, hinged lid on top for access to the storage compartment. Tape is advanced through the dial and embossed when the user presses a black plastic pressure bar located on the bottom of the handle. Accepts Scotch Brand no. 760 pressure-sensitive labeling tape (3/8 or 1/2 in. wide) and no. 763 magnetic tape (1/2 in. wide). "SCOTCH® EA-450" is cast on both sides of the handle in raised letters/numbers. U.S. Patent no. 3723963; ink-stamped on label on inside of tape compartment lid: 2479.
