History/Provenance: The Gindiri Training School in northern Nigeria was opened by the Sudan United Mission in March 1953. First (9) photos sent to Dwight Smith at the John Milton Society in letter dated 13 February 1958 by Pamela M. Allen from the school ; second (11) came from same school at later date.
