Description: O&M trainer Rod Kossick in dark trousers and short-sleeved white shirt on right, guides hands of Vietnamese trainee in light shirt on left; cane is white, rigid aluminum with small crook and putter grip; building in background and motor-scooter; sign reads "BAN KHIEM-THU BLIND SECTION." Kossick graduated from Western Michigan in 1962, the O&M program's first graduate. He established a rehabilitation center in Saigon, where he worked from February 1967-September 1968 as an employee of the United States International Development Fund.
