Scope & Content: No labeling on mapped area; raised lines indicate rivers; mountain chains are raised; provincial boundaries are apparent; lakes are depressed and filled with horizontal lines; two parallel raised lines provide a border around the mapped area; below the border appears the title of the map, the creator's name, and his location (Illzach) in raised letters. Martin Kunz was director of the Blind Institute at Illzach, Germany and the leading producer of maps in Europe during the 1890s.
