Description: Triangular type "furniture" rack; oak sides, bottom, and top; Masonite back panel; interior divided into compartments by masonite and thin wood panels; eight rows by seven columns; each compartment holds five wooden "furniture" blocks of a particular width and length; a steel strip down the left side has numbers at each level to indicate the length of the blocks in pica; a steel strip across the top has numbers at each column to indicate the width of the blocks in pica; in addition, many of the blocks have their length stamped on the front; wooden rule pinned on front of right side of cabinet; metal tag pinned on top, "Thompson Cabinet Company/Printer's Equipment/The Standard of Comparison/Ludington, Michigan."
