Scope & Content: The front of the postcard has a color-tinted photo of the front of the school building. The roof has a domed cupola. There are columns at the entrance, and two cars (circa 1940 models) are parked in the front drive. Some of the front lawn and trees are showing. Printed at the top of the card is "State School For The Blind, Janesville, Wis.--53." The back of the postcard is divided by the following printed information: Made In U. S. A. By E. C. Kropp Co., Milwaukee, Wis. - (DJF). Printed at the top left corner is "Ideally located on the banks of Rock River, the grounds of this school are beautifully landscaped. It is one of the show places of Janesville." The number "4551N" is printed in the top right corner. The postcard has not been used.
