- On the front of the postcard is a color-tinted photo of the front of the school building. The building is brick with white wood columns along the front entrance. There are two balcony levels above the front entrance; each balcony has white columns and wood trim. There are several trees in front of the building, and the property is bordered by a decorative iron fence. At the bottom of the front of the postcard, left corner, is printed "Austin, Texas. Institution for the Blind" and a logo. Handwritten in pen is "6/17/07 B.H." At the lower right corner is "Printed in Holland" and handwritten in pen are the initials "B.H." The back of the postcard is not divided; it has been addressed. Along the left edge is printed a logo and the following: Raphel Tuck & Sons, "RaphoType" [Regd] Postcard No. 5141, "Austin, Texas." Art Publishers to Their Majesties The King & Queen." At the top left corner appears the coat of arms of the Netherlands.
