Scope & Content: Color postcard shows a view of the school buildings from across the river. Three small boats are visible in the foreground. "Perkins Institute, Charles River, Watertown, Mass." is printed in bottom margin and the serial no. 1073-30 appears in the bottom right corner. Back of postcard is divided, used, and postmarked July 23, 1937. "C.T. American Art Colored" is printed in the dividing line, and the manufacturer's logo is printed at bottom center. School is now called the Perkins School for the Blind. Slight grime on back, at bottom center; cancellation stamp is visible on front.
