Scope & Content:
On the front of the postcard is a color-tinted photo showing the front of the school with the following printed at the top "Philadelphia, Pa. Penna. Institution for the Blind" in red ink. The building is Mediterranean style; white with a red roof. The back of the card is used. A green line divides the message and address sections. Printed along the left edge in green is "No. 604. Printed in Germany." A message dated June 20, 1909, is on the back; the card was not mailed.
