Scope & Content: Color-tinted photo of the front entrance of the school building. Mediterranean style; arched entryway; towers; large central dome; red-tiled roof. Printed along the bottom edge, beneath the photo, is "Entrance Pennsylvania Institute for the Blind, Philadelphia, Pa." In the lower right corner is printed "214521." The back is divided and used. Printed along the left edge is "Leighton & Valentine Co., N.Y. City. Printed in United States." A company logo is printed at the top center--3/4 in. triangle containing the intertwined letters L and V. Postcard has a 1912 postmark.
