Scope & Content: On the front of the postcard is a color-tinted photo of a red brick multistoried school building. The front and side of the building are shown; a tree blocks the side view. A tower rises above the front entrance which is arched with a balcony above it. Porches with wood balustrades flank the entry tower. Printed at the bottom top left edge is "State School for Blind, Jackson, Miss." The numbers "900567" are printed in the lower right corner. The back of the postcard is divided and unused. Printed along the left edge is "Published by Eyrich & Co., Jackson, Miss. Printed in Great Britain." Two other postcards in the museum collection show similar views of the same building, see 2000.73 and 2000.87.
