Scope & Content: Black & white photo; slight color tinting of sky. View shows the front entrance of the multistoried building. The central section has two covered balconies with columns and a columned front entry. This section is flanked by two towers with mansard roofs. In the foreground are several young men in suits and young women in dresses walking along the sidewalk and lawn. Their style of dress dates the photo to pre-1920s. Along top edge of card is printed "State School for Blind. North Lansing, Mich." and "10363." The back is divided and not used. In the postage area is printed "Photoette Made By C. U. Williams Bloomington Illinois." Slight wear at corners; some discoloration on back.
