Scope & Content: Color-tinted photo of a red brick building with stone quoins. The central block has four stories and a covered portico with an enclosed balcony above it. The wings are three stories. "Photo by Spieth" is printed at the bottom left corner. "109741-N" is printed at the bottom right corner. "Illinois School for Blind, Jacksonville, Ill." is printed at the top right corner. The back is divided, used, and postmarked Aug. 2, 1949. Back is divided by the following print: Genuine Curteich-Chicago "C.T. American Art" Post Card. "Jacksonville News Agency, Jacksonville, Ill." is printed along the left edge.
