History/Provenance: Removed from 2014.13.1, Box 20, Folder 66. Hollis Noyes Macombre was a Yale-educated attorney on the faculty of Quinsigamond Community College who sued the college in 1965, claiming he was fired because he was legally blind. Later efforts by Macombre to get legslation passed in Massachusetts to protect workers from such discrimination also failed.
