Description: Shield-shaped plaque is made of wood with walnut stain. 1/4 inch slot on back for hanging. Engraved anodized aluminum plate of same shape and with brass-colored finish is attached to the front by 3 small screws and is inscribed: "Samuel C. Ashcroft, Professor, Faculty for Exceptional Children, College of Education, The Ohio State University, 1974-1978." A 1-inch, decorative curved line is engraved above and below the text.
