History/Provenance: Photographs were transferred to the museum by Tuck Tinsley III, APH President. In April 1997, the American Printing House for the Blind began a project with the help of Toyota to incorporate theToyota Production System into its own manufacturing in an effort to improve plant productivity and reduce costs. Cindy Kuhlman-Voss was the main Toyota engineer who assisted APH in implementing her company's manufacturing approach.
