History/Provenance: In 1999, the museum of the American Printing House for the Blind was renamed the Marie and Eugene Callahan Museum in recognition of a generous endowment of the museum by Eugene Callahan in memory of his wife, Marie. The studio portraits of Eugene Callahan and his wife were provided by Mr. Callahan. The holiday photo was edited at APH from a pre-1996 photo taken at the Callahan's home.
