Description:
Four black-and-white glossy photographs of flexible disc machinery include: hydraulic record press (.1c); hydraulic record press coupled to special power unit (.1d); hydraulic power unit, showing accumulator and variable flow control valves (.1e); and hydraulic power unit, showing motor-pump and filter (.1f). Photos were used as illustrations D, E, F, and G in the following report: Flexible Plastic Disc Records: A Total Production System Feasibility Study (APH, 1971); corresponding illustration letter is typed on front of each photo, in margin. Handwritten or painted on press is the number 844; visible in photo .1d. "Lin Caufield Photographers, Inc., 2100 Arthur Street, Louisville 17, KY., Melrose 6-3728," is stamped in green ink on the reverse of each photo. Beneath the stamp, handwritten in pencil, is a photo negative number: 71-783-5 (.1c); 71-783-3 (.1d); 71-783-7 (.1e); 71-783-6 (.1f). Studio name is also printed on front of each photo, in bottom margin.
