History/Provenance: The American Printing House for the Blind started producing two models of interpoint slates in fiscal years 1970 and 1971: the Interpoint Pocket Slate, catalog no. 1-0007 and the Interpoint Postcard Slate, catalog no. 1-0011. This photograph was taken for use in APH product information. Another similar photo appears on the product sheet for these slates.
