Administrative History: The Pennsylvania Association for the Blind (PAB) was established in 1910 in Harrisburg to provide vocational, rehabilitative and social services to blind and visually impaired residents of Pennsylvania. The first non-profit state-wide service provider of its kind in the United States, PAB was incorporated in 1912 and, overtime, a network of branches was established to offer services in various locations throughout the state.
