Description: Loom has four (4) wooden bars, each lined with wooden pegs; pegs are 2 1/4 inches long, with a diameter of 3/4 inches; bars fit together at the ends through tongue-and-groove construction and bolts to form a rectangular weaving frame. 2003.185.170a - Wooden section, measuring 2 1/2 x 20 1/4 in., with 11 pegs; metal tag embossed with the number "5" in braille; Roman numeral "V" also carved into the wood; projecting from each end is a 2 1/2 in. steel bolt with nut. 2003.185.170b - Wooden section, measuring 2 1/2 x 20 1/4 in., with 12 pegs; metal tag embossed with the number "6" in braille; Roman numeral "VI" also carved into the wood; projecting from each end is a 2 1/2 in. steel bolt with nut. 2003.185.170c - Wooden section, measuring 2 1/2 x 42 in., with 23 pegs, grooved ends and holes to accomodate bolts. 2003.185.170d - Wooden section, measuring 2 1/2 x 42 in., with 24 pegs, grooved ends and holes to accomodate bolts; metal tag embossed with the number "5" in braille, and a similar label with the number "6" is attached at the other end; Roman numerals are also carved into the wood.
