"Pictures for the Blind" is printed on the page in German, French, English, and Italian as follows: Abbildungen fur Blinde. Images a l'usage des aveugles. Pictures for the Blind. Immagini ad uso dei ciechi. Below this is printed "Von Direktor M. Kunz, Illzach." Illustrations appear to be of different leaves of various plants; includes braille notations that may refer to accession 1998.90.116. Martin Kunz was director of the Blind Institute at Illzach, Germany and a leading producer of relief pictures and maps in the 1890s.
