History/Provenance: The American Printing House for the Blind (APH) ceased its production of recorded magazines on cassette tape in the fall of 2012, with production of magazines on digital cartridge expected to begin in 2013. The company began its move away from cassette tapes for recorded material in 2009, when it started producing talking books on digital cartridges for the Talking Books Program of the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (the last talking book cassette was produced by APH in 2010).
