Scope & Content: On the front of the card is an illustration of the original school building with a horsedrawn carriage in the foreground and "New York Institution for the Blind" printed along the bottom edge. Printed on the inside is "1832 - The One Hundred and Twelfth Christmas - 1944," with a poetic quotation from "Sigourney." The names of the director and his wife are printed at bottom and read: Mr. and Mrs. Merle E. Frampton. The school is now called the New York Institute for Special Education. The museum has 4 copies.
