Description: Two color slides in white cardboard mounts. One shows a side view of Talking Book narrator Randy Atcher seated at a table in a ground-floor recording studio of APH, reading aloud into a microphone from a book that rests in a book holder. His left hand rests next to the book holder; his right hand touches a black control box with on/off switches. He wears headphones and eyeglasses. The other slide shows a side view of Esther Helm-Clark, a studio monitor, in the studio control room, seated at a table that faces a window into the recording booth, looking down at a book as she listens to the narrator read, her right hand touching a switch on a black control box. An open-reel tape recorder is on a corner of the table, at top right, and a dictionary and phone are at the opposite end of the table. Slide mounts are dated June 1991, have brief descriptions handwritten in pencil, and a copyright symbol, year, and name of photographer stamped in blue ink.
