Summary/Description: Splash, the pet dog of U.S. Senator Edward M. Kennedy, accompanies the senator to the office and describes their typical work day on Capitol Hill. For grades K-3. Uncontracted, interpoint braille is embossed in double-spaced lines on transparent, overlay sheets interleaved with standard print pages that feature colorful illustrations (not raised). Color-illustrated hardcover of laminated paper over boards; twin-loop binding; clear braille label on front at top left; black-cloth ribbon bookmark. Back cover features a photo of Kennedy holding a ball as Splash jumps up for it on a grassy area outside of the Capitol that is visible in the background. Book is signed by the author on the red, front-free endpaper, at left and just below center of sheet, in black ink: "Ted Kennedy." To the right of the signature is a black ink-stamp of a paw with "Splash Kennedy" beneath it.
