Summary/Description: 1971 yearbook of the Missouri School for the Blind, kindergarten through 12th grade, with black-and-white photos of students, administration, staff, school building and grounds, and activities. Includes a photo of Ralph Bartley, APH Research Director, who was then-Administrative Assistant at the school. The signature of Superintendent Donald W. Johnson is written in ink on the front free endpaper. The yearbook was compiled and brailled by the Publications class at the school and was printed by students at the Missouri School for the Deaf in Fulton. Burgundy clothbound boards with white lettering on the front cover. Braille pages are thermoformed plastic. Title on front cover reads: "Mule Memories 1971." An empty envelope with metal clasp, measuring 9 3/4 x 6 1/2 in., is glued to the inside of the back cover.
